Michael Title joined Steinberg Morton Hope and Israel in
2005 having practiced previously as a partner with a mid-sized
Toronto law firm for 17 years.
Michael has extensive experience as a trial and appellate
counsel acting for financial institutions, insurers, private
companies, and entrepreneurs.
Michael is a Certified Specialist in Civil Litigation. He
was appointed by the Law Society in 2005 as a member of the
Certified Specialist Committee making recommendations to
the Law Society regarding the eligibility of applicants for
the designation.
Michael has a depth of experience in construction and real
estate related litigation, including construction insurance,
construction deficiency claims, Construction Lien Act proceedings,
real property and leasing litigation, Tarion proceedings,
and construction arbitrations.
Michael also has a special interest and expertise in claims
involving the liability of professionals, including architects,
engineers, solicitors, brokers, agents, and others in a professional
or fiduciary capacity.
Michael has written and presented articles in the field of
construction and real estate law, and has been a member of
the executive of the Ontario Bar Association, Civil Litigation
Section.
Michael has had many of his trial decisions in commercial law reported widely
in Ontario and across Canada. |
